Letteretti is an anagram finding game. The goal is to make a 10-letter word. You won't start with 10 letters right away, though- you'll have to earn them!
How to Play
The word cloud shows all the possible words. If you haven't found a word yet, there will be squares in place of the letters. The number of squares indicates the number of letters each word has. The words are in alphabetical order- use this to your advantage when you can't figure out a word!
You will start with three letters. Form a word with your current letters, then hit submit. If you used all three letters, the "next letter" button will become active. Press it when you're ready to move on. Be careful, though, sometimes you're better off finding all your words!
Use the "shuffle" button if you need to look at your letters another way. If you know what a word starts with, you can enter those letters and then hit shuffle to scramble the remaining letters. If you hold down the shuffle button, the letters will be put in alphabetical order instead.
Still stuck? Click on a word to get the option for a hint. They're costly, though!
Scoring
Normal word: 10 points per letter
First word using all letters: 50 points per letter
Other words using all letters: 20 points per letter
All points awarded are increased by the score multiplier. Over time, the score multiplier goes down, so finding words early yields large rewards! This is especially true for words which use all the letters because of the enormous bonus!
The score multiplier will reset on each new letter. Remember that filling in all the words helps you a lot when you get the next letter. Even if your multiplier has dropped to zero, you may want to do so!
Tips
The difficulty defaults to an intermediate mode. Look in the settings if you'd like to soften things up a bit. If you're really looking for a challenge, give SOWPODS or TWL a try!
